Equine Assisted Therapy

What is equine assisted therapy?

"Trauma-informed care is a neurosequential model of therapeutics that aligns therapeutic activities with stages of brain development in an attempt to facilitate healthy reorganization of neurological pathways under the assumption that such reorganization of earlier stages of brain development will ultimately benefit higher-level cognitive functioning."
- Natural Lifemanship

We facilitate working with horses, primarily on the ground in a variety of settings, in order to reconnect with ourselves and others.  These prey animals’ natural instincts focused on survival and herd behavior, provide a structure in which we are able to discover many things about ourselves and others! We can help our clients discover and live comfortably in their own skin, overcoming many mental disorders.
